THE POLE IS ASSEMBLED; YOU CAN NOW PROCEED WITH THE INSTALLATION
4.0 POLE INSTALLATION
For pressure installation, check that:
1° The pole must rest on horizontal, solid, non-elastic, flat surfaces free of irregularities.
2° Make sure that the surfaces in contact can withstand a pressure of approximately 350 kg.
3° Make sure the pole is installed at the point where the measurement was taken at the time of purchase. The pole has a tolerance of -1 to +4 cm relative to the height specified when ordering.
4° Clean the floor and ceiling to remove any dust residue.
5° Clean and degrease the rubber pads (PADs) under the pole's plates with alcohol. The PADs are held in place without chemical adhesives; if they come loose, use double-sided tape to reposition them.
6° For pressure installation, using the Safety Plate is recommended. This is a safety plate designed to prevent the pole from accidentally falling. If you have already purchased the Safety Plate, first screw this plate to the ceiling at the point where you wish to install the pole, then follow the instructions supplied with the accessory.
After checking all the points above, proceed with installing the pole.

11.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
11.1 THE POLE ROTATES SLOWLY
Too much pressure may have been applied to the pole during installation: reduce the pressure; see section 4.4
11.2 THE POLE SLIDES FROM THE LOWER PLATE
Check that the rubber pads under the pole plates and the floor are perfectly clean; see section 8.2
11.3 THE POLE MAKES NOISE WHEN IT ROTATES
Check that the pole is perfectly level (section 4.2)
Check that the floor and ceiling are parallel; if they are not, try moving the pole a few centimeters.
If the problem is not resolved, the pole may need its bearings lubricated (section 9.2)
11.4 THE QUICKSPIN2 IS JAMMED
Check that the optional screw has not been inserted and that the shear screw has NOT been touched (section 6.1)
Check that the pole is level (section 4.2)
11.5 THE RUBBER AT THE BASE OF THE POLE (PAD) HAS COME OFF
The PADS are installed without chemical adhesives. If they come loose, clean the contact areas and use standard double-sided tape to reposition them (replacement PADS are supplied with double-sided tape on the back).
11.6 THE PRESSURE OF THE POLE BETWEEN THE CEILING AND FLOOR DECREASED AFTER INSTALLATION
Check that the floor and ceiling are solid, as described in section 4.0.
In the case of laminated parquet installed with a layer of expanded polyethylene film underneath, the air bubbles inside the polyethylene will compress, causing the pole to lose pressure. When this happens, loosen the safety screws and rotate the pole a few degrees counterclockwise to restore the correct pressure as described in sections 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6. In any case, we recommend installing the Safety Plate.
11.7 THE POLE UNSCREWS WHEN IN STATIC MODE
Check that the safety screws are properly tightened as described in sections 4.5 and 4.6
11.8 THE GECKOGRIP AND INOX POLES ARE MORE SLIPPERY THAN OTHER INSTALLATIONS
Clean the poles as described in section 9.1
If the problem persists, check other factors: an excessively humid outdoor environment, perspiration, etc. If you suspect a conformity defect, contact customer service within the terms established by the sales conditions.
11.9 When the product is not in use, make sure it is stored in a safe position.
