3.0 ASSEMBLY OF THE PLATFORM POLE

For this operation you will need:
No. 1 Lower Section of the Pole: with pre-assembled internal joint .
No. 1 Upper Section with cap at the upper end.
No. 1 Steel pin with or without Quickspin™ system (depending on the model purchased)
No. 1 5mm Allen key

3.1 JOINING THE POLE SECTIONS

1. Place the two pole sections on the ground and insert the lower pole section, the one with the pre-assembled internal joint, into the upper section. Make sure the joint's catch is facing upwards, as shown in the photo. Do not force it; if the joint doesn't fit, contact the technical office.
2. Align the steel pin with the holes on the top section of the pole; tighten it clockwise using the 5mm Allen key until it stops, making sure it's securely tightened. If the pole is never split, the steel pin will need to be tightened occasionally.

3.2 INSTALLING THE STEEL PIN (with or without Quickspin) IN THE LOWER SECTION OF THE POLE

1° Insert the steel pin into the lower section of the pole, making sure that the pin's notch faces upwards as in the photo, and align the steel pin with the holes on the lower part of the pole.
2. Using the 5mm Allen key, tighten the steel pin by turning it clockwise until it stops, making sure it's securely tightened. The steel pin of the axle must be tightened occasionally to prevent it from unscrewing due to stress and coming out of its housing.

4.0 ASSEMBLY OF THE CENTRAL STRUCTURE OF THE PLATFORM

For this operation you will need:
No. 6 black square tubes
No. 1 central element of the structure with ring nut for tightening the wood pre-assembled.
No. 6 dice in cage
No. 6 feet
 adjustable threaded
No. 12 screws 8x50
No. 6 self-locking hex nuts
No. 6 flanged hex nuts
No. 1 13mm combination wrench
No. 1 6mm Allen key

4.1 SCREW THE FEET INTO THE BLACK SQUARE TUBES

Place the 6 black square tubes on the floor with the square hole facing up . Insert the nut into the cage with the tabs parallel to the length of the leg and screw the 6 feet clockwise into the 6 cage nuts until the end of the race.

Video how to screw cage nuts and feet

4.2 ASSEMBLE THE BLACK SQUARE TUBES WITH THE CENTRAL ELEMENT OF THE STRUCTURE

1° Place the central element of the structure on the ground, unscrew and remove the ring nut for tightening the wood and put it aside (it will be needed later)
2. Insert a black square tube into the seat of the central element of the structure, aligning the holes. Repeat for all six tubes.
3rd Insert a 8x50 screws in the outermost hole of the central element of the structure screwing a self-locking hex nut and tighten until it stops, using the wrench Use the 13mm combination wrench and the 6mm Allen key, but don't overtighten it because the tubes will then have to close towards the inside of the structure . Once tightened, loosen the self-locking hex screw by ¼ of a turn to ensure the square tube closes towards the inside when the structure needs to be closed. Repeat for all six tubes.
4th Once all 6 are assembled and screwed in Check that the black square tubes close smoothly by bending them inward. If they don't close smoothly, loosen or tighten the self-locking hex screws. The tubes must be screwed in such a way that they close smoothly (they must not close on their own).

4.3 TIGHTEN THE SAFETY SCREWS (important for the stability of the platform)

The safety screws are used to stabilize the platform because they block the closure of the black tubes, for this reason they must always be inserted when the platform is in use.

1st Insert a 8x50 screws in the innermost hole of the central element of the structure. Repeat for all internal holes.
2nd screw by hand a flanged hex nut in the 8x50 screw until it stops without tightening. Repeat for all six screws.

4.4 ADJUST THE FEET (important for the stability of the platform)

1° Adjust the feet of the central structure so that the surface of the platform is perfectly horizontal and the central element of the structure is raised from the ground to ensure greater stability.

ATTENTION!!! To move the Platform, do not drag it, otherwise the feet could become bent and damaged, but it must always be lifted by at least two people, one on each side.
2nd check that the feet are correctly adjusted , the thread must not protrude too much to avoid damaging them.
ATTENTION : The platform can be installed on floors straight . Then check that the the threads of the feet are not too exposed so as not to damage them .

For screed floors, study the relevant floor leveling methods.

In case of surfaces that are not perfectly smooth, install the platform in concave areas rather than convex areas.

5.0 ASSEMBLING THE WOODEN TOP

ASSEMBLING THE WOODEN TOP

For this operation you will need:
6 wooden triangles (the color and type vary depending on the model purchased).
n° 1 ring nut for tightening the wood
ATTENTION : only if present , remove the red protective strip before fitting the triangles.
5.1 ASSEMBLING THE SIX WOODEN TRIANGLES
1st Place a wooden triangle above the structure of the platform making sure it fits in correctly
Image
2° Slide the triangle onto the structure and make sure that the tip of the triangle fits under the collar of the central element of the structure
3° Repeat the previous 2 operations for all the triangles of the platform, making sure that they fit together correctly to form a single compact surface.

5.3 SCREW THE WOOD FIXING RING

1st Insert the ring nut for tightening the wood in the central element of the platform.
2nd Turn the ring clockwise taking care to insert it into the appropriate groove on the tip of the wood, until it is completely tightened.

Video of the assembly of the wooden platform

5.4 CHECKING THE CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE TOP OF THE PLATFORM

1st With a spirit level make sure the plane is horizontal.
2nd If the table is not horizontal, adjust the inclination with the feet always being careful not to let the fillet come out too much (see point 4.4)

6.0 FITTING THE POLE INTO THE TOP OF THE PLATFORM

Take the previously assembled pole with both hands, position it perpendicular to the central hole of the platform and insert it.

THE PLATFORM IS NOW ASSEMBLED

7.0 CHANGING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC: (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS DEPENDING ON THE MODEL PURCHASED)

Follow step 7.1 for the Pin WITH the QuickSpin
Follow step 7.2 for the Pin WITHOUT the QuickSpin

7.1 TRANSITIONING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC WITH QUICKSPIN

No tools will be needed for this operation.

To switch from SPIN to STATIC pole and vice versa, simply lower or raise the Quickspin ring in one click.
STATIC POLE: Lower the Quickspin Ring
SPIN POLE: Raise the Quickspin Ring

Video of the QuickSpin Platform Pole operation

7.1.1 OPTIONAL FUNCTION: QUICKSPIN LOCK IN SPIN OR STATIC POSITION.
This is a optional function which allows you to lock the Quickspin system in one of the two modes (SPIN or STATIC) thus preventing the possibility of switching from spin to static pole in one click.
If you do not want to block the Quickspin system, do not insert the steel-coloured conical pointed grub screw.

For this optional function, use the steel-colored conical point grub screw and the 4 mm Allen key.

1st Quickspin lock in spin position : lift the Quickspin ring, insert the steel-colored grain into the hole on the ring nut and screw it all the way in with the 4mm Allen key . Unscrew and remove the grub screw to release the Quickspin.

2nd Quickspin lock in static position : lower the Quickspin ring, insert the steel-colored grain into the hole on the ring nut and screw it all the way in with the 4mm Allen key . Unscrew and remove the grub screw to release the Quickspin.

Video on how to lock the QuickSpin in Spin or Static position

7.3 CAUTION NEVER TOUCH THE SLOTTED SCREW

Do not touch the QuickSpin screw shown in the figure.
This screw regulates the operation of the QuickSpin and is adjusted during the production phase of the pole. If this screw is tampered with, the QuickSpin will no longer remain in the spin position and you will have to contact technical support.

7.2 SWITCHING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC WITHOUT QUICKSPIN ONLY FOR MODELS WITHOUT QUICKSPIN, THE SYSTEM THAT AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHES THE POLE FROM FIXED TO ROTATING

For this operation you will need:
No. 1 steel conical point grain
No. 1 4mm Allen key
SPIN POLE:
To use the pole in SPIN mode , the steel conical point grub screw MUST NOT be inserted into the threaded hole at the base of the pole
ATTENTION : If you do not want to remove the pointed grub screw to avoid losing it, you can unscrew the pointed grub screw until it is flush with the threaded hole, as seen in the circle in the photo.
Stress during use of the pole could cause the pointed grub screw to tighten: check occasionally that it is still in place. If the grub screw tightens and touches the pin, the latter could be damaged, making it difficult to remove the pole from the base.
STATIC POLE:
To use the platform pole in static mode, you must :
1° Rotate the pole and align the hole on the pole with the hole on the central structure.
2nd Screw the steel conical point grain clockwise with the 4 mm Allen key until it stops .
To return the pole to the SPIN position : unscrew the conical point grub screw with the 4 mm Allen key in an anticlockwise direction until it comes off.
STORE THE POINTED GRAIN IN A SAFE PLACE SO AS NOT TO LOSE IT.

8.0 DISMANTLING THE FOOTREST

8.1 REMOVING THE POLE FROM THE PLATFORM STRUCTURE:

Using both hands, grasp the pole and lift it until the steel pin completely emerges from the central hole in the platform structure. Place the pole on the ground, taking care not to damage it, or in the pole rack provided.
8.1.1 DIVISION OF THE TWO POLE SECTIONS
To better transport the pole, it can be divided into two pieces:

Place the pole on the ground in a horizontal position before proceeding.

1st Using the 5mm hex key, unscrew the top section pin by 3.5 turns.
2nd Rotate the pole until you see the two silver pins, then use the hex key to push in the pin you just unscrewed.
3° Separate the pieces by gently pulling them apart.

CAUTION : DO NOT TURN THE ALLEN WRENCH COUNTERCLOCKWISE TOO MANY TIMES, OTHERWISE THE STEEL PIN WILL COME OUT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE, BLOCKING THE JOINT. IF THIS HAPPENS, TIGHTEN THE STEEL PIN CLOCKWISE WITH THE 5MM ALLEN WRENCH UNTIL IT ENDES, AND THEN UNSCREW IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE BY ONLY 3 TURNS.
8.1.2 REMOVING THE STEEL PIN FROM THE POLE:
To make it easier to transport the pole, you can remove the steel pin from the pole by simply inserting the 5mm Allen key into the pin in the lower section of the pole, turning it counterclockwise 3 turns to unscrew the pin and thus be able to remove the steel pin from the tube.

CAUTION : DO NOT TURN THE ALLEN WRENCH COUNTERCLOCKWISE TOO MANY TIMES, OTHERWISE THE STEEL PIN WILL COME OUT FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE, BLOCKING THE STEEL PIN AGAIN. IF THIS HAPPENS, TIGHTEN THE STEEL PIN CLOCKWISE WITH THE 5MM ALLEN WRENCH UNTIL IT ENDES, AND THEN UNSCREW IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE BY ONLY 3 TURNS.

8.2 REMOVAL OF WOOD FROM THE PLATFORM STRUCTURE

1° Turn the wood clamping ring counterclockwise until it lifts.
2° Remove the wood carefully, taking care not to drop it or damage it.

8.3 CLOSING OF THE CENTRAL STRUCTURE OF THE PLATFORM

1° Unscrew the 6 hex nuts from the 6 safety screws and remove them (the ones closest to the central element of the structure)
2nd Close the six black square tubes of the
the structure by folding them inwards.
ATTENTION: It is NOT necessary to remove the six black square tubes in this way, to reassemble the footboard, simply reopen the tubes and relock them with the safety screws.
