3.0 PLATFORM POLE ASSEMBLY

You will need the following for this operation:
No. 1 Lower Section of the pole: with a preassembled internal joint.
No. 1 Upper Section with a cap at the upper end.
No. 1 steel pin with or without the Quickspin™ system (depending on the model purchased)
No. 1 5 mm Allen key

3.1 JOINING THE POLE SECTIONS

1° Place the two pole sections on the ground and insert the lower pole section, with the preassembled internal joint, into the upper section. Make sure the joint’s latch faces upward, as shown in the photo. Do not force it; if the joint does not fit, contact the technical department.
2° Align the steel pin with the holes in the upper pole section; using the 5 mm Allen key, tighten it by turning it clockwise until it stops, making sure it is firmly tightened. If the pole is never disassembled, the steel pin should be tightened from time to time.

4.0 ASSEMBLY OF THE CENTRAL PLATFORM STRUCTURE

You will need the following for this operation:
No. 6 black square tubes
No. 1 central structural element with collar for securing the wooden components pre-installed.
No. 6 cage nuts
No. 6
 adjustable threaded feet
No. 12 8x50 screws
No. 6 self-locking hexagonal nuts
No. 6 flanged hexagonal nuts
No. 1 13 mm combination wrench
No. 1 6 mm Allen key

4.1 SCREW THE FEET INTO THE BLACK SQUARE TUBES

Place the 6 black square tubes on the floor with the square hole facing upward. Insert the cage nut with the tabs parallel to the length of the leg and screw the 6 feet clockwise into the 6 cage nuts until fully tightened.

Video: how to screw in the cage nuts and feet

4.2 ASSEMBLE THE BLACK SQUARE TUBES WITH THE CENTRAL STRUCTURAL ELEMENT

1° Place the central structural element on the ground, unscrew and remove the collar used to secure the wooden components, and set it aside (it will be needed later).
2° Insert a black square tube into the housing of the central structural element, aligning the holes. Repeat for all six tubes.
3° Insert an  8x50 screw into the outermost hole of the central structural element , then screw on a  self-locking hexagonal nut  and tighten it fully using the  13 mm combination wrench and the 6 mm Allen key, but do not overtighten because the tubes will later need to fold inward toward the structure. Once tightened, loosen the self-locking hexagonal screw by ¼ turn to allow the square tube to fold inward when the structure is closed. Repeat for all six tubes.
4th, once all six  black square tubular sections have been installed and screwed in, check that they close smoothly by folding them toward the inside of the structure. If they do not move smoothly, loosen or tighten the self-locking hexagonal bolts. The tubular sections must be screwed in so that their closing is controlled (they must not close on their own).

4.3 TIGHTEN THE SAFETY BOLTS (important for platform stability)

The safety bolts stabilize the platform by preventing the black tubular sections from closing; therefore, they must always be inserted when the platform is in use.

1st, insert an 8x50 bolt into the innermost hole of the central element of the structure. Repeat for all the inner holes.
2nd, hand-screw a flanged hexagonal nut onto the 8x50 bolt as far as it will go without tightening it. Repeat for all six bolts.

4.4 ADJUST THE FEET (important for platform stability)

1st, adjust the feet of the central structure so that the platform surface is perfectly horizontal and the central element of the structure is raised off the ground to ensure greater stability.

WARNING!!! To move the platform, do not drag it, otherwise the feet could bend and become damaged. It must always be lifted by at least two people, one on each side.
2nd, check that the feet are correctly adjusted; the thread must not protrude too far, to avoid damaging them.
WARNING: The platform can be installed on  straight floors. Therefore, check that the  foot threads are not too exposed, to avoid damaging them.

For sloping floors, determine the appropriate floor-leveling methods.

If the surfaces are not perfectly level, install the platform in concave areas rather than convex ones.

5.0 ASSEMBLY OF THE WOODEN TOP

ASSEMBLY OF THE WOODEN TOP

You will need the following for this operation:
N° 6 wooden triangles (the color and type vary depending on the model purchased).
n° 1 ring nut for tightening the wooden pieces
WARNING: only if present, remove the red protective strip before mounting the triangles.
5.1 ASSEMBLY OF THE SIX WOODEN TRIANGLES
1st Position a wooden triangle on top of the platform structure making sure that it fits together correctly
Image
2nd Slide the triangle onto the structure and make sure that the tip of the triangle fits under the collar of the central element of the structure
3rd Repeat the previous 2 operations for all the platform triangles, making sure they interlock correctly to form a single compact surface.

5.3 TIGHTENING THE WOOD-PIECE RETAINING COLLAR

1st Insert the collar for tightening the wood pieces into the central element of the platform.
2nd Turn the collar clockwise taking care to fit it into the appropriate groove at the tip of the wood pieces until fully tightened.

5.4 CHECKING THAT THE PLATFORM TOP IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY

1st Using a spirit level make sure that the surface is level.
2nd If the surface is not level, adjust the angle using the feet while always taking care not to extend the thread too far (see step 4.4)

6.0 INSERTING THE POLE INTO THE PLATFORM TOP

Take the previously assembled pole with both hands, position it perpendicular to the central hole in the platform, and insert it.

THE PLATFORM IS NOW ASSEMBLED

7.0 SWITCHING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC: (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ACCORDING TO THE MODEL PURCHASED)

Follow step 7.1 for the pin WITH QuickSpin
Follow step 7.2 for the pin WITHOUT QuickSpin

7.1 SWITCHING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC WITH QUICKSPIN

No tools are required for this operation.

To switch from SPIN pole to STATIC pole and vice versa, simply lower or raise the Quickspin collar with one click.
STATIC POLE: Lower the Quickspin collar
SPIN POLE: Raise the Quickspin collar

QuickSpin Platform Pole Operation Video

7.1.1 OPTIONAL FEATURE: LOCKING THE QUICKSPIN IN SPIN OR STATIC POSITION.
This is an  optional feature that allows you to lock the Quickspin system in one of the two modes (SPIN or STATIC), thereby preventing switching from spin pole to static pole with one click.
If you do not want to lock the Quickspin system, do not insert the steel-colored cone-point set screw.

For this optional feature, use the steel-colored cone-point set screw and the 4 mm Allen key.

1° Locking QuickSpin in the spin position: raise the QuickSpin ring, insert the steel-colored set screw into the hole in the ring and screw it in all the way with the 4 mm Allen key. Unscrew and remove the set screw to release QuickSpin.

2° Locking QuickSpin in the static position: lower the QuickSpin ring, insert the steel-colored set screw into the hole in the ring and screw it in all the way with the 4 mm Allen key. Unscrew and remove the set screw to release QuickSpin.

7.3 WARNING: NEVER TOUCH THE SLOTTED SCREW

Do not touch the QuickSpin screw indicated in the figure.
This screw controls the operation of QuickSpin and is adjusted during pole production. If this screw is tampered with, QuickSpin will no longer remain in the spin position and you will need to contact technical support.

7.2 CHANGING THE POLE FROM SPIN TO STATIC WITHOUT QUICKSPIN ONLY FOR MODELS WITHOUT QUICK SPIN, THE SYSTEM THAT AUTOMATICALLY CHANGES THE POLE FROM FIXED TO ROTATING

You will need the following for this operation:
N° 1 steel conical-point set screw
N° 1 4 mm Allen key
SPIN POLE:
To use the pole in SPIN mode, the steel conical-point set screw MUST NOT be inserted into the threaded hole at the base of the pole
WARNING: if you do not want to remove the pointed set screw to avoid losing it, you can unscrew it until it is flush with the threaded hole, as shown in the circle in the photo.
The stress during use of the pole could cause the pointed set screw to move: check from time to time that it is still in position. If the set screw screws in and touches the pin, the pin could be damaged and you may then have difficulty removing the pole from the base.
STATIC POLE:
To use the platform pole in static mode, you must:
1° Rotate the pole and align the hole in the pole with the hole in the central structure.
2° Screw the steel conical-point set screw clockwise with the 4 mm Allen key until it reaches the end stop.
To return the pole to SPIN mode: unscrew the conical-point set screw counterclockwise with the 4 mm Allen key until it is removed.
STORE THE POINTED SET SCREW IN A SAFE PLACE SO AS NOT TO LOSE IT.

8.0 DISASSEMBLING THE PLATFORM

8.1 REMOVING THE POLE FROM THE PLATFORM STRUCTURE:

Using both hands, pick up the pole and lift it until the steel pin comes completely out of the central hole in the platform structure. Place the pole on the ground, taking care not to damage it, or in the designated Pole Rack.
8.1.1 DIVIDING THE POLE INTO TWO SECTIONS
To make the pole easier to transport, it can be divided into two pieces:

Lay the pole on the ground horizontally before proceeding.

1° Using the 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the pin of the upper section by 3.5 turns.
2° Rotate the pole until you can see the two silver pins, then use the Allen key to push inward the pin you have just unscrewed.
3° Separate the sections by gently moving them apart.

WARNING: DO NOT TURN THE ALLEN KEY TOO MANY TIMES COUNTERCLOCKWISE, OTHERWISE THE STEEL PIN WILL COME OUT THE OPPOSITE SIDE, BLOCKING THE JOINT. IF THIS HAPPENS, TIGHTEN THE STEEL PIN WITH THE 5 MM ALLEN KEY CLOCKWISE AS FAR AS IT WILL GO, THEN UNSCREW IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE BY ONLY 3 TURNS.
8.1.2 REMOVING THE STEEL PIN FROM THE POLE:
To make the pole easier to transport, the steel pin can be removed from the pole by inserting the 5 mm Allen key into the pin located in the lower section of the pole and turning it counterclockwise 3 turns to unscrew the pin, allowing the steel pin to be pulled out of the tube.

WARNING: DO NOT TURN THE ALLEN KEY TOO MANY TIMES COUNTERCLOCKWISE, OTHERWISE THE STEEL PIN WILL COME OUT THE OPPOSITE SIDE, BLOCKING THE STEEL BOLT AGAIN. IF THIS HAPPENS, TIGHTEN THE STEEL PIN WITH THE 5 MM ALLEN KEY CLOCKWISE AS FAR AS IT WILL GO, THEN UNSCREW IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE BY ONLY 3 TURNS.

8.2 REMOVING THE WOODEN PIECES FROM THE PLATFORM STRUCTURE

1° Turn the tightening ring for the wooden pieces counterclockwise until it rises.
2° Carefully remove the wooden pieces, taking care not to drop or damage them.

8.3 CLOSING THE CENTRAL PLATFORM STRUCTURE

1° Unscrew the 6 hexagonal nuts from the 6 safety screws and remove them (the ones closest to the central element of the structure).
2° Close the six black square tubes of
the structure by folding them inward.
WARNING: It is NOT necessary to remove the six black square tubes in this way. To reassemble the platform, simply reopen the tubes and secure them again with the safety screws.
